"The food was very good here, fresh, filling and local tasting. Vintage decorations give a special ambiance. Service was a bit rushed, however, perhaps because there seemed to be only one person on staff."

We were visiting in the week after Easter, and Melrand was quite sleepy, so we weren't too surprised to be the only patrons in this creperie that evening. That wasn't a sign of bad cooking though - there were a range of inventive galettes and crepes on offer, including such delights (?) as andouille de Gueméné, and local ciders, beers and spirits. Interesting junk shop ambience, but a welcoming host!

This is a very cozy restaurant. There are lots of objects de art on the walls, antiques, and classic jazz vocals playing in the background. But the crepes are the reason to come. They are very well made, and the selections should satisfy anyone. There is a modest wine and cider selection, and the prices are very reasonable. Eat here. You'll enjoy it.
