We stayed at their hotel on our way home from Chamonix and it was very comfortable that they also had a restaurant. We were completely and extremely positiv surprised by the quality of their restaurant. You can eat à la carte or take one of the two menues, which we did. – We went for the larger menue for € 39,00. There is a 'greating from the kitchen ', an entrée 2 choices , a main course 3 choices , a cheese course local cheese and a dessert you can choose from the card. We had a really great meal: St. Jaques Morilles – Canard – Chees – home made mousse au chocolat ! If you go for the chees you have to taste the Vacherin Mont D 'Or, it is from lait cru and comes from a production close by j...
We stopped at around eight o’clock last Wednesday evening for dinner at this hotel which we last visited a few years ago. We enjoyed a very good meal and an excellent bottle of wine served with efficiency and friendliness on the pretty terrace behind the hotel. A REVIEW OF THIS HOTEL posted yesterday was meant for a hotel in REIMS and was made in error. Sorry for any confusion!
We often pass through Jougne on our way to Italy. While starting to look for a hotel close to the Swiss border on the French side, we got the last room available. The room was a three bedroom suite, with a matrimonial bed on the front side of the hotel and a single bed at the rear. The hotel has a nice garden. The restaurant was fully booked, so we had to eat elsewhere.
We were a group of 3 hikers that stayed the night here on a half-board basis. The hotel staff were extremely professional and welcoming. We had a comfortable room and very much enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast. I highly recommend this establishment.
