"An unusual place to eat. Outside and inside dining if you can get a table. The crepes and galettes were very filling. Service good but we were charged for tap water!"

Their galettes, savoury pancakes, are so light that they are absolutely delicious. There are many set gallettes you can have but also you can make up your own combinations as required. The staff are very friendly indeed and it is situated in one of the most beautiful old roads in Angers , very close to the Château. The dessert pancakes are very good, but the same as you would expect elsewhere. We come every year when we visit family in the town.

We stumbled across this fabulous spot just down an alley across from the Chateau. Authentic, welcoming ambience. Friendly attentive staff and absolutely delicious galettes and crepes for lunch. Don't be scared off by the menu being only in French the staff will help and with a little Google translate you can figure it out. Very reasonable price and a great opportunity to try from their range of delicious craft ciders.

This little gem hidden in the old town was a pleasant discover. Excellent ambience, superb service and the home made crepes to die for. Extensive yet simple menu. My partner had savory mushrooms and egg while I had caramelised apple and ice cream. They were so good we had to share a third with chocolate and banana. Fair price too.

We have been eating galettes and crepes for many years, specially in their origin region which is Bretagne, and the Creperie du Chateau is one of the best we ever tasted!! Everything is delicious, also the home cider. And the place is so cute : They have baby chairs available. Only thing: book in advance!!
