Stopped at the terrace bar for a drink on a beautiful evening. ordered a cocktail and a beer. when they eventually turned up, my wife tried her cocktail to find it was warm and tasted disgusting. I got hold of the waiter to tell him it was unsatisfactory. he shrugged his shoulders and said that is how it came so I told him to take it away. On paying the bill, he still charged me for the cocktail even though I sent it back (8.20) and refused to refund me as my wife had taken a sip out of it. appalling customer service.
The food was great the staff friendly.Only problem was we realised that we missed the last train to go back to La Rochelle, the was a guitar player that decided to stand next to our table and sing to the whole restaurant inside and outside while we were trying to find a plan B...I'm not against live music but not that up close! Kind of ruined the dining experience.Woukd go back again if the guitar player is not there.
My family and I came to eat there and the food was really good. I ordered Salmon gravlax a Savoyard burger. The salmon was great, the burger was awesome the fries were delicious! The location is awesome too! The only thing I can complain about is the prices: my burger cost €15 and the salmon €10. Great place to eat!
It is a very friendly place but the food is only average to poor. The ambiance is that of a motorway service station plus the food is expensive and the night I visited was average to poor so look further. Having said that the staff are friendly so recommend only for an early evening drink and move on.

The hotel was raving about this place but we found it to be pretty average, in fact not very tasty. The moules was sprinkled with way too much parsley, the fries were soggy. My fish was a bit chewy which was a surprise given that it was supposed to be a local white fish. Service was ok but a bit slow.
We visited this restaurant because it gave us chance to sit and watch the sunset and the promenade, but escape from a brisk wind! The food was OK - nothing to get excited about and we had to send a steak back to be shown some heat - medium it was not!

We give a one, just for the waitress. Otherwise it is horrible, expensive for cold platters. You will have to wait at least an hour for each plate. Please avoid, much better places near by.

Great food, friendly staff, nice view. Recommend the moules frits! Had gone next door to start but the staff were not welcoming so went here and total opposite.
Stopped for Camembert roti salad, followed by a crepe
