La Croix Du Sud - Table reservation

We visited this restaurant because the menu was varied, not too large and clearly innovative. We were not disappointed. For €67 we each had an entrée, and a main course, a glass of wine, a beer and a bottle of water. The price was correct. For starters the Rillette de Haddock Fumé and Tartare de Thon were very good; the rillette was very original and deserves a second tasting! For the main course we both had the Thon mi-cuit. What a delight. Beautiful, fresh fish, very good purée and fresh courgettes. All perfectly cooked. Let's be clear. Excellent food great service! Joël the owner is very welcoming friendly, so is the staff the Chef former pastry chef so the desserts are exquisite the traditional couscous was awesome so was the tuna Pave as well as the risotto with fresh gambas scallops; l’île flottante crème brûlée were delicious; a very good address au Château ;

We turned up without booking and fortunately there was a table available on a sunny autumn Friday that was very warm. Oysters for starters and then the cous-cous with three fish for me and sardines for my partner. All well prepared and nicely presented. Generous portions mains. Staff friendly and helpful. A good lunch!

I chose the Moules Marinniere since you are right next to the port it certainly didn't disappoint. The kids menu is short but perfectly adequate the staff are lovely and friendly.
