What a wonderful find! We purchased a variety of delicious pastries to take home, but ended up staying for coffee on the lovely front terrace. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The lunch menu seemed delicious and reasonably priced for another visit. Unfortunately, they only bake bread on Saturdays, but they do offer frozen bread options as well as quiches, cakes, and other tasty treats. Definitely a must-stop when in Richmond.
The food is excellent which we tasted on one of their beautiful outdoor terraces. It was so good that I left with 2 breads, a quiche and a creamy apple pie .... Wow, it's rare for me to give my opinion, but this place is a real gem! The dishes are simple but delicious and flavorful, well done to the chef! Lovely little restaurant with beautiful local products and local wines. Honestly, one of my best finds in a long time! I will definitely be a long-term fan of this little gem!
my wife I had lunch in la desserte thur aug 18/22 with a friend and had an excellent meal. they had the Quiche Special of the day, and I had their garnels in a bungalow. both were delicious, and we look forward to the return to la desserte, next in richmond, quebec. Book a table now
The new owners are genuinely friendly! The small dishes are delicious, the atmosphere is casual, the service is warm, and the coffee is truly delicious. And let's not forget about the little shop filled with unique local treasures. A must-visit for sure!
