"Absolutely fresh food, very high end service and kind waiters. Amazing wine selection, quaint interior and outdoor seating. Very reasonable prices especially with such top end ingredients. This place has everything you want in a true Italian cuisine restaurant no frilly dishes, no gimmicks, just straight up quality."

Due to a recommendation from a friend, my girlfriend and I had dinner last night at La Dolce Vita in Fort Lauderdale. The service was phenomenal and it stood out from the moment we arrived. As we approached the doorway, one of the gentleman at the restaurant opened the door for us and escorted us to our table where he then continued to untucked our chairs for us and hand us menus. The excellent service and ambiance really gives this place an upscale feel. We ordered the soup of the day which was an onion soup and the insalata adriatica for appetizers which were both awesome. Then for our main courses we ordered the Garganelli Alla Bolognese and the Chitarrina La Dolce Vita. Both of these mea...

My friend and I enjoyed a nice and delicious dinner here this week for our anniversary. The environment was intimate and welcoming. The owners are two knowledgeable, friendly Italians who made it a priority to offer A service and treat you like family. I welcome the authenticity of the food and service that made me feel for a moment in Rome. Thank you for bringing a small piece of Italy to Fort Lauderdale! We will be back not only due to the quality of the food (that was top-notch), but the quality of the service. I recommend this wonderful restorative.

I have to admit I was a little sad when my buddy chose to go here instead of Cafe Martorano’s around the corner. That immediately changed after tasting the magnificent octopus and eggplant. One of my friends had the mushroom ravioli with black truffle oil and Parmesan which was absolutely delicious but my veal chop was the winner of the night. If you’re looking for a quieter authentic delicious Italian restaurant this is the place to be. If you want loud and fun and delicious the other place is great as well.

From the moment we went, the experience was extremely Italian. The most important waiter hugged and kissed his regular guests while everyone else felt at home. The bread was freshly baked and the pasta was phenomenal. We had the gnocchi and lasagna, and it was just the best meal we had in Florida. Very authentic flavors!!
