We set about looking for a nice pizza restaurant in the back streets of Ancenis today. Being off season, quite a few places were closed. We truly lucked out, though at La Dolcezza. While the menu is varied, we were swayed by the pizzas fellow diners were enjoying. We were not disappointed. My Bretonne Pizza was utterly sublime. I can honestly say it was one of the best pizzas I ever had. The base was so light, the scallops were generous and sweet and the fresh persillade topped it off perfectly. My husband had La Mexicaine again all the ingredients were so tasty and fresh right down to the bright orange runny egg yolk. We reluctantly declined dessert. They looked gorgeous though. 2 espressos...
We had a treat last night, everything was really perfect, our pizza a treat, our girl's bowl too good, and all for a totally correct price, the waitress a cream, really a very nice address
very friendly welcome. We've been enjoying ourselves. very rich and well cooked. a small terrace very pleasant at the back of the restaurant. I recommend.
