The hotel "a star" is super central in the heart of dinan! Andrea and jacky hosts are very friendly and convenient! the room and the bathroom are very clean and recently decorated. The beds are very good! the hotel is not a hotel chain such as ibis or campanile, but it is a family hotel, so they try to do everything to satisfy their customers within their budget and their possibilities. What's to applaud. the hotel has the parking lot in front of the city, so it was a great bonus to park the car and walk the few meters to the hotel! breakfast is expensive for what you get for two to 16 euros: two croissants, two chocolate breads, a baguette for two people, bottled orange juice, tea or coffee...
we can say this basic hotel for the rooms. its strengths are its situation in the middle of the central square of the intramuros city and the family atmosphere because it is the bosses and bosses who take care of you. Breakfast is simple and French ( nothing but sweet). The evening meal is excellent the terrace located in front of the hotel overlooks the square... well to sip....The parking on the square is not too expensive.
Too bad it could have been good. the reason why we entered and even took a night at the hotel.. the quality is not at the rdv. no flavor in the dishes. a boss who does not at all have the sense of politeness, remarks moved, and cherry on the cake during service the waiter actually drops the bread on the ground and the normal delivery in the basket then served the customers. Oh, that's a good thing.
Friendly reception;Well-related services.... Six years after I returned to this family-friendly establishment, I don't care about the detractors who should change paths. We can't blame this establishment to collect people who are waiting for a 4-star!!!! be intelligent in order to keep good user-friendly addresses ....Or, pass your path....DINARD or Saint Malo await you.

friendly, welcoming and dedicated staff, excellent and beautifully presented kitchen. we have a seafood plate with eightres, bulots, lobsters and shrimp, a scallop of styling jacques with whisky, divine mist cream, all very fresh and homemade: a correct price for this menu. We'll go back there in a next stay.
This is the second time we came to dinan at the duchess anne. the reception of Andrea and Jacky is very warm and they are of any help if needed. The room was very comfortable and we slept well. The kitchen is very good, even if the dishes are a little too copyy!
Every time I order a menu from day to day, I will remember this place. homemade, quality and beautifully presented kitchen. all this for very affordable prices (from 13 to 16 euros) even the weekend. Very recommendable.
