I don't usually give poor reviews, but our experience at La Estrallita was unfortunate. The only good thing about the food was their complimentary salsa and chips. The cheese on my daughter's nachos wasn't melted at all, my burrito's shredded chicken tasted like canned chicken, and worst of all the water tasted like what a hotel swimming pool smells like. Most of the servers we came in contact with were pretty grumpy other than our actual waitress. She was very sweet, however after taking our card to pay, she disappeared for 10 minutes. Rather than paying at the station next to where we were seated, she went to the kitchen. As far as atmosphere, maybe if we sat outside it would have been bet...
This was my third visit to the restaurant. My first experience was for dinner, and it was absolutely fabulous—the food and service were outstanding. However, during my second visit for lunch, the food was cold and nowhere near as impressive as my first meal. On my third visit, which was for dinner on June 15, 2025, I ordered the Mayan enchiladas, and once again, they were served cold. The cheese had hardened, and the tortillas felt like they were just taken out of the fridge. As for the sauce, it was barely there—just a few drops on the plate. I was very disappointed and won’t return. It's a shame, as they have a lovely patio that could create a great atmosphere.
I’m completely shocked. My waitress misplaced my debit card, and the manager informed me that she was going to review the security footage to confirm whether I had actually set my card down. After I demonstrated that I did, I was told that the waitress still didn’t have it. Eventually, my debit card was found under another guest's table, and when it was returned to me, there was no apology. Instead, I was simply asked if that was the card I wanted to use to pay my bill. It's incredible to receive such poor customer service after being a loyal customer for over 30 years.
My kids brought me here because they said food was really good. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and a bit rude at the beginning. The salsa was not good and our entrees were very disappointing. We will not be coming back. Sad to say because this used to be a favorite go-to for some of the family.

This is definitely Tex-Mex and not authentic. The food was lacking in seasoning and the chicken. In my wife's burrito was whiter, then she was. Overall, not a bad experience and the majority of the food was ok definitely a place that has more hype than it should.
Food was not bad however they cooked alot of food with Lard(pork) and when I ordered a meal with vegstable only they charged me the full price as if I ordered meat( Chicken)
Enchiladas were stellar. Taco on the combination plate was a little disappointing. For Brighton, this is a dining experience. Definitely would recommend.
This was a great restaurant. A little bit of a wait but well worth it. The waiter was hilarious and the margaritas were done quickly
