This is a truly exceptional restaurant with exceptional food and very good service. The seating next to the river in the back is very romantic too, so highly recommended for couples. There is nothing on the menu to avoid, EVERYTHING is just superb, but my favourite is the vegetarian hamburger, simply to die for. This is by far an amazing discovery, and the price is extremely favourable too, if you are in the area do not miss it!
It advertises as vegan friendly on this site, but when asking for vegan options, there was nothing. Not even a consideration of veganizing something or asking the chef, just a plain 'no '. I cannot update the 'vegan friendly ' qualification on this site, but that clearly requires adjusting.

There aren’t many reasons to go to Vesoul. But.. If you end up in this neck of the woods, this is a very nice restaurant. The terrace on the river is a nice quiet place away from the street. The food was nice and well presented. Service was informal, but really friendly.
