This was a very busy lunch venue. It had to be because of its splendid location and on this occasion, the weather was particularly fabulous. If you have not booked a table in advance be prepared for a lengthy wait. Also at peak time, the service from the bar is very slow. One poor girl struggling to serve a huge queue of people. Once you do get a table the service is lively and the food is good. It is clear that the chef prides himself on presentation. I would recommend this auberge but would also recommend if you can book in advance.
we are accustomed to the altitude restaurants where the menus are cheap and without interest. the farm of the driveway makes lie and then honor the high restaurants. very good reception, well decorated room, old beams even if some are new. the card is allevious, varied and full of discoveries, kangaroo steak for example, lamb mouse. prices may seem high but we have for our money. If you want lunch on a sunny, sheltered terrace with plenty of space. This is the spot for you. The food is very consistent but it gets very busy. It's best to know exactly what you want when you order the food. They have good draft beer and the bar inside is nice with a big log fire. The staff are very professional and they deal efficiently with large numbers of people speaking multiple languages. Definitely one of our favourite spots on the mountain.
Once you're not personalized, but here's a good-altitude restaurant there are several on the ski area. restaurant with beautiful terrace and a beautiful room inside. a good reception with a smile even in the shopping cart. map that comes out of the ordinary, a little expensive price but the choice and quantity is there for an altitude restaurant. Le service est très rapide avec des serveurs et serveuses vraiment sympa. Les plats sont excellents On vous conseille le veau. On ressent un grand professionnalisme de la direction (talkie walkies terminaux de paiement iPhone pour les commandes etc). Ce n’est pas partout la même chose même dans des restaurants plus chers! On recommande.
Started well with most of the drinks and main dishes arriving fast. Tartiflette was good, could have been a bit warmer. Friends also liked the main course. Some beverages never arrived. Getting dessert took very long and our 8 coffees never arrived. Then we had to queue for 20min at the bar to pay : Will try another place next time.
Ignored for 35 minutes. Poor girl waiting on whole place had no chance so just avoided eye contact and did her best I suppose but this was poor management. We were on the point of leaving when we finally got the chance to order. food when it arrived was ok but nothing special. Worth a try if half empty but not worth a long wait.
We go in this ski resort since many years now. La ruelle is by far the best place where you can stop for a short break (with good drinks and free wifi or for a lunch with good food for a reasonable price and very fast service (that is what you want in order to rest and then go back to ski !! . strongly advised !!!

Having always been to the restaurant we tried the snack bar a few times this winter. The service at the bar is very friendly and speedy and the sandwiches are ready made. Other snacks are available too.
Always good and always welcoming. The food is yummy and is traditional Savoyarde fair. One to visit if you are on this part of the piste. The service on this occasion was excellent
