in one sense this is another of the ubiquitous jersey Italian restaurants. how many more do we need? However, this offers a wider range of foods which are not necessarily prepared in Italian style and wise. quail, which was not overcooked over the risotto with many well prepared mushrooms, was first advised - definitiw a repeater. canneloni was better than pedestrian, but not necessarily a repeater. no substitution is a deactivation if the main part of an entree attraktiw is, but the services are not, unless they want to buy them ala carte. the service was unimaginable, but friendly and efficient. the place is fragile loud, but a little space from the side and corner tables here and there is...
For starters, I had the oysters, which were enormous and delicious. My wife chose the Lasagna Bolognese while I opted for the Chicken Parmesan. We both enjoyed our meals immensely; the chicken parm was tender and easy to cut through. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, dessert blew us away—definitely try the ice cream coffee! The panna cotta was flawless, and the brownie sundae my wife ordered was quite generous. A heads up: this place is BYOB, but it shares a parking lot with a well-stocked liquor store. There used to be a Vermont license plate that simply said "Vermont." Let's keep it under wraps. I'm a bit worried that La Focaccia might become too popular, and I'd rather not see that happen. In my unique area (and I can travel a bit), it's the best Italian restaurant around. The fresh pasta is exceptional, and both the lunch and dinner menus are diverse, affordable, innovative, and consistently superb. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. So here’s the bottom line: please don’t go there and spoil it for me.
Was rushed as soon as we sat down. Rushed to order and food was out so fast my wife and I were out of the restaurant in about an hour. Yes we had appetizers. Good did not live up to description. Book a table now
As always a delight. I don’t know why we don’t come here more often. Staff is professional and pleasant and the food is always top notch. Plus as a BYO it is a rare value in the area.
Terrific little gem off the beaten path in summit. Food was outstanding. So well prepared. Will be back very soon.
