The restaurant is small and tables are quite close together. We were seated quickly and shown the large menu, which has lots of choice. I went for gnocchi in a Gorgonzola sauce, with 3 types of veg. My meal arrived on a big, cold plate,...which was rubbish as the food got cold quickly, before I could eat it. The veg sides were steaming hot and the whole meal was tasty. When we were paying, I heard the waitress telling the next table about the Specials Board. Yet more tasty choices we hadn’t been told about, which was a shame as I’d have chosen the ravioli from the Board.
We booked a table in this Italian restaurant over the phone and were pleased we did as it was very popular on the Thursday night we visited. I ordered the last halibut off the specials menu so my partner had seabass from the main menu....Fortunately for me both the seabass and the halibut were excellent. Both dishes came with vegetables and potatoes included. The service was friendly and professional, we had a very enjoyable evening.
visited on 24th april. we have as a party of 4. beautiful restaurant feels like in italy with the stone floors and music. elegantly dressed tables. crisp white bed linen and sparkling glasses and crockery. our server was polite and friendly, eating was divine. A... word bellissimo, we're coming back. if they are in banbury and they are looking for a hauch of italien la foglia is for them. they will not be disappointed.
We come to Banbury a few times a year to stay with a relative this is our 2nd visit here our meal was fabulous again. This is a classy Italian restaurant, but the staff are relaxed friendly the combination really pays...off for them. Natalia Joy offered excellent service, despite it being full that Saturday evening the food was scrumptious. We wished we lived nearer, because we’d go every week!

they eat here several times and have never been disappointed. there is a good selection of menus and specialties, with something for everyone. the service is first class and eat exactly as I like it. very clean and welcoming. highly recommended .
Our second time visiting and it certainly won’t be our last. From the service to the food everything is gorgeous. It is a really cosy restaurant and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the amazing pizzas!
the gnocchi were wonderful really excellent and my calf was very good in did. great, professional service and a very beautiful and very busy place. we liked it very much and were very happy with everything.
Another good meal enjoyed by all. Service was on the slow side, it can be if busy. With 8 of us it sometimes can be fragmented but can not question the quality of food. We will be back.

I love going to La Foglia. The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is intimate. Portions are large so be warned!
