This is a gem of a restaurant, which is a fusion of culinary styles from the Basque region and Andalucía. The food is a delightfully creative mix – we had tapas specialities for starters including chiperones with mango, crunchy morcilla, egg plant with honey and vegetable tempura all amazingly tasty with subtly balanced flavours. Our other main dishes included some of the best secreto we have tasted, delicious gratinated scallops and tortilla de bacalao. We finished with the quirky gin and tonic ice cream and a splendidly rich banana and dulche de leche cheesecake Service was superb prompt and with a smile and a touch of humour. We ended up eating here as the famous restaurant next door, El Picoteo, was full and we are now very glad it was! The extensive menu and all the stunning tapas on display did not disappoint. So many beautifully presented and original combinations that were all delicious...we were in tapas Heaven. The service was also impeccable and their wine recommendations were great. Although the restaurant is a little pricier than the majority in Tarifa, it was certainly worth it and we were secretly delighted to get to enjoy this wonderful place without the crowds. Highly recommended.

As a self confessed food critic, this is a truly excellent little restaurant by any international standards. Very friendly staff and a fantastic range of imaginative dishes you will not find anywhere else. Quality, quality, quality!!! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Muy bien, abrieron el restaurante para nuestro grupo. ¡Comida deliciosa y porciones muy grandes! Sin embargo, nos hubiera gustado saber que teníamos que pagar en efectivo. Tuvimos que hacer una transferencia internacional (con comisiones). ¡Aun así, volveríamos!
So so so so so good! Basque cuisine is always so good and here thye know how to do it! All the pinchos were etremely tasty and well presented it! NIce to see the staff working in the kitchen. Good price for the lots of food we had!
