La Galleria - Table reservation

Whilst wondering this lovely little town, we wondered what we should grab to eat. We thought we would play it safe by going to a non-commercial but traditional Italian restaurant. However, whilst the menu may feel like you’re sitting in Italy, there is nothing safe...about the quality of this food! I should first of all acknowledge just how receptive and warming they were to the fact that we had two infants who were part of our party. Sorry to say that things haven't improved since my last visit. The decor has changed and perhaps that explains the increase in the fixed price menu to £16.95 although their Facebook page had not been updated. There was little choice on that menu. Service was...the pits despite a mandatory 10% service charge. It seems that they have also now joined the trend for a cakeage charge which doesn't sit well especially when our bill came to £200+. Definitely won't be going again.

Six of us had lunch after a few beers in the tap room. They were very attentive without being overbearing and very accommodating. All the food was cooked fresh and although my steak was underdone they rectified it immediately with no fuss. Great menu and...great service.

Just had a lovely meal here. The food was very good quality and a reasonable price. Friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely worth another visit.

large Italian kitchen and cheap, in central and attractive location. service was really attentive and friendly. the best place in shoreham.
