Amuse bouche of asparagus were delicious Starters were trout terrine mine was that memorable that I can't remember it Main was the entrecôte, melting in the mouth. Incredible. And I had the lamb sweetbreads which were tasty too. I had a coffee served with a trio of sweets and the other half had the chocolate fondant which was very nice too. You pay more but the food was good. The déco is a little dated, as you step back into some 80's avant-garde look (then). It looks like the chef relies on his reputation rather than keeping the place nice and crisp. The wine list bible is worth a read... But the so-called somelier wasn't providing any assistance whatsoever and was in fact more of a waitres...
Top class. Had lunch for four here today with friends from Paris. Started wirh excellent foie gras and also two of us hsd scallops sweet, perfect and lovely. Main course was a beautiful piece of Charley beef, perfectly paired with a nuits st. George on the suggestion of the owner. Great service, very helpful and friendly owners all in all a great lunch with great company. It does not get much better
Had been the night before and had a very good meal. While not formally offering breakfast out host prepared two very nice omelettes if our choice the Capuccino and hot chocolate again very nice. Service very good. Maybe a little expensive, but this is Brussels right next to the station so no worse than expected. Not unreasonable.
This was my second visit and it was even better than I remembered. The restaurant is beautifully appointed and the welcome warm. Excellent choice of menus, impeccable cooking,presentation and service. The wine list is quite dizzying in its range. If you are in the area fight to get a table!
