La Grignootte - Table reservation

Nice visit to this castle and its garden. We were greeted by the daughter of the current owner. The castle retraces part of the life of the famous Vauban having worked so much for France. We can note the owners' will to restore life and keep the castle restorations and the rooms we can visit. It's a shame I don't find a tour system with a predefined hour guide out of the group The visit is assisted by a full reading document but will never replace the delivery of a person. We also have access to q a small part of the castle, the rest being occupied by the owners. Also possible to rent castle premises for various occasions seminar, wedding ... The outer frame on the valley is very beautiful!!...

a magnificent castle in the footsteps of vauban that we see from afar. It is beautifully placed on the heights of bazoches. He's private, but we're lucky he's open to the public and we can visit him. the interior is richly decorated with beautiful furniture. this castle is well maintained. descending the village in the middle of nature is interesting.

If we love history, it moves to visit the Vauban residence where about three centuries ago, imagined and built the plans of the major fortifications of our country. The descendants have done a wonderful research and restoration work to convey to us the memory of this great engineer, humanist before the hour and his work.

Very beautiful castle and people who receive us his very friendly, Vauban could not have lived in our time. I recommend it to parents with teenagers for history and above all go to visit the church in the village where Vauban rests

The castle is beautiful and really well restored. However, small apartment on the entrance price/number of rooms to visit. Excellent reception.
