"We have eaten lunch here a couple of times and both visits have been excellent. Food is delicious, very good value and plentiful. We ate outside on the terrace and the setting in this quiet village square is lovely. We also ordered a take away paella one evening and it was superb. A great restaurant and a nice change from the usual local fare."

This is NOT the first review of this restaurant. There are plenty of other reviews under its misspelled listing. In case you think I have got the spelling wrong, have a look at the photos on the misspelled listing. Amazingly, I got TA to list this under the correct spelling but instead of correcting the spelling of the earlier listing, we now have a new listing. Still, that's TA for you. It's a business and only accidentally a review site. The food is definitely Spanish rustic. Plenty of choice, well cooked and the presentation is fine. We had salads and an assiette of meats for entrees. Rather big salads but well constructed and with a tasty dressing. The salad which came with the main cour...

Firstly, TA lists this restaurant as La Guardia Multiple which is not its name. La Guardia is an American airport. The name of this restaurant is La Guarida which means, I think, The Den in Spanish. So It doesn 't pop up when you search by name on TA. I found it only accidentally. The food is definitely Spanish rustic. Plenty of choice, well cooked and the presentation is fine. We had salads and an assiette of meats for entrees. Rather big salads but well constructed and with a tasty dressing. The salad which came with the main course tortilla was rather too coarse for our tastes but the paella was as good as can be found in Spain. Neither of the waiters spoke any English but we got by. The...

Unless you like greasy fries I wouldn't recommend you visit. As these came with everything. When asking for my Andalusian salad I was pointed to the 2 leaves of green on my tapas plate. The head waitress was pleasant but for her other staff they were less than cordial. Swearing in French (thinking we wouldn't understand)disappointing visit for a special occasion. We were also refused olives as we weren't local! What a waste of money!

So delighted to find this Gem, lovely welcome as we were late out of season. ie we arrived 13h15. understandably menu du jour sold out, we were all happy to be able to be offered a menu with a delightful smile. The menu du jour is 11€90 as said previously sold out, we all were able to have the 16€90 menu, choice per course, fab bread, water wine. A complete Gem from start to finish we will be back Thank you Merci
