Honestly I walked into this place and thought.... no way I am not eating here. However my friend insisted and so we sat down... i cautiously ordered something I thought was safe. Then I walked by a table and they had ordered the combined mole dish and it looked amazing. I unfortunately couldnt order it as I am gluten intolerant but there was plenty I could eat and these guys were very helpful with non gluten ordering. My friend got the mole and she was floored ...she said the best mole she had ever had and we just got back from Oxaaca City last month I reordered four times. I got way more food then I could eat but it was with out a doubt the best Mexican food I have had for a

Tried Guelaguetza last night and wow were we impressed! The owner/chef asked if we wanted to try a tasting of his three mole recipes and of course we said yes. We had a similar tasting at Sazón in Santa Fe but we have to say we enjoyed his mole as much if not more. The restaurant is simple in design with fun mariachi music playing and the food tastes like grandma made it. We had Birria tacos, tacos camerones and chicken enchiladas with all three mole. Absolutely incredible! The staff is wonderful, friendly and very proud of their delicious food. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

Mole is a gift from the Aztec gods and being central to Oaxacan food, La Guelaguetza knows how to make the most out of Mole to delight the taste buds. Birria has been around longer than the pyramids of Mexico and La Guelaguetza's incorporation of Birria into a variety of dishes was a taste bud revelation.

Great food. The family of five brothers provide authentic Oaxacan cuisine. I had a beef sope, Al pastor taco and a ceviche tostada. Each was freshly made and delicious. My husband had the enchilada mole (chicken Colorado) and it was also very good
