2 stars for the frame. glass doors are so dirty that we can not see through it, the terrace is dirty and even not swept, the tablecloths are not ironed and the waitress is like the jean and black polar restaurant tinted. the staff is not masked, the meal is more than passable, the intercoast of sheep is so hard and nervous that it is too difficult to reach the waiting is endless again a Thursday with very few people. disappointed, we're making the impasse on desserts and coffee. We were clients of the old direction. We're not coming back.
we were here for lunch during a visit to avignon, about 25 of us, mostly Italian. the deer and desert were very nice, but the main course left much to wish. a fist-big piece of raw meat with potato masque, I asked the...Wachsin what she claimed it was roast bone of lamb! it was infallible, I couldn't even cut it in. almost all diners left theirs. I can only hope that the Italians did not go home and think that all French cuisine is so bad.
this restaurant is adorable: from the beaten stretch directly on the rhone, the trip of avignon (if you don't have a car, consider the bike rental to drive over the bridge and make it a getaway). a wonderful environment! the food was very good, also: the menu is small, but the dishes are typical, fresh and well prepared. we loved it!
It looked like a nice place for a drink, but the service could be better. Despite only a few tables being occupied and lots of staff walking around, it took about an hour from ordering our drinks to being able to pay our bill. The...staff seemed uninterested in attending tables.
