If you are looking for true Cuban food…keep on going. If you're looking for yuppy food…this is your spot. Very sweet bartender, the horchata was very good. No croquetas?? How is that even possible?? Whoever created the rice recipe has clearly never had black beans and rice. Overall…TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT Just know that this is not authentic. The rice beans were terrible. The staff couldn't recommend anything for it being our 1st time. Little selection for food. The food wasn't cooked fresh. My brisket wasn't hot it was luke warm when I got it. To many carrots, the flavors were not good. The chicken was bland. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Cuban born and raised and I can tell you this is NOT Cuban food maybe somewhat Cuban inspired but not Cuban food. The only good part of our $100+ for two people meal was the mojo sauce. Even if it wasn’t claiming to be Cuban it is still nearly inedible.
It was our first time here and loved it. Our server Hailey was great. Very attentive and had lots of suggestions. I had the Oxtail and my friend had the jerk chicken. Both were outstanding. Will definitely be back.
