This place has a 'je ne sais quoi ' like no other.. !! the kava they served 'issa ' was locally grown down the road! They also sold 'Noni ' (a local fruit) shot, they are grown up the street!! These kids know how to give you an authentic Hawaiian kava experience. Pahoa is such a charming little village of a town. Aloha and Mahalo Price per person: $20–30
I spent multiple days hanging out here. I love the atmosphere and staff is wonderful! They have Open mic night Monday, Reggae night and karaoke night as well. We stopped by after a rainy day at the beach and were drawn in by the atmosphere. The bartender was awesome at explaining what Kava was. We tried two kinds and enjoyed our time here. Try something new and enjoy good company and great music. Thank you for introducing us to Kava and Nahko!
