In April, we ate in the inner room, the terrace was full. The table service was poor, and ill-intentioned. They forgot to bring one of the dishes, a salad, which arrived, after drawing attention to it, when we had already received the main course. The bad intention came from a waiter when we ordered drinks: a bottle of wine and water; Specifically, we ask for a jug of tap water -in Spain there is a new legislation that obliges restaurants to serve tap water, at no additional cost-; the waiter told us that it was not possible because the water in the town was not drinkable; we were surprised by the answer, but we did not discuss it; when we were leaving we asked at the bar counter if that was...

You can always tell a good restaurant when local Spanish people take their families there in droves, especially for a Sunday lunch. It’s busy at weekends in the winter too.....you have to turn up early to ensure a table on Sundays, we found, so do try to book. We’ve been coming here for over 3 years on and off, and the food (especially the seafood! and service is very good. Lovely place, and if the weather and availability allows, try to sit at a table on the veranda overlooking the sea. It’s so much better there. The whole place is in a great position on the jetty where the little bobbing fishing boats come in, and is a very different lunching experience.
We haven't eaten at this restaurant for a while now but we do try to go for a drink there as the setting is really really beautiful. The drinks are really lovely and it's so totally relaxing there. However we find that every time we go the people aren't that friendly as they are in the other restaurants and bars in isleta which spoils this for us. Although there was one very lovely young man who served us our drink this time. We will always continue to go and maybe on our next visit we will have a meal There to give our final verdict. I would love to see the staff smiling there on our next visit. Such a wonderful setting and so relaxing.
The reservation was a mess. They confused names and tables. When we finally got a table, the waiter was not very good explaining what dishes they had. It was not a language issue, as I speak fluent Spanish. We asked gluten-free and he did not seem to take it seriously. He then took us varies fish grill cooked with wheat flour. No comment. No wine card. No gluten-free beer, of course. He seemed to forget us for dessert and finally I went to pay myself, as he did not even come with the bill. All in all a very poor service and a so-so food. First and last time. Book a table now
They let us wait a lot, ignoring us. They brought us a ticket regarding daily fresh fish with NO PRICES on it. They charged us an incredible price for two slices of normal fish with an average quality. Tourist trap, we will not come back anymore and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. We felt TOTALLY DISRESPECTED. Terrible experience.
Stunning location sat on a peaceful cove listening to the sea and watching the fishermen We had lunch here, clams, mussels and grilled mixed fish, all of which were delicious, especially the choice of fish Service good and wine served nicely chilled. Would recommend a stop here for a lazy lunch
The gallineta fish was incredibly delicious and crunchy. The perfect dish for 4 with a bottle of white wine chosen by their super nice waiter Toño. Their desserts were to die for and the Crema de Orujo the best end to a good time. Thanks La Isleta! We’ll be back for more!
Amazing food we had paella de mariscos and bread pudding afterwards it was delicious and the staff friendly The location is just awesome Book a table now
The view is amazing, but that's about it. The staff are distracted and some quite sour to be honest. The food was average.
Great location by the sea. We came for drinks but I would love to eat here as the fish looked amazing. Friendly service.
