La Jetee - Table reservation

If you find yourself in the little sea-side resort of La Seyne-sur-Mer, near Toulon, on the Cote d'Azure (south coast of France), make your way to La Jetee! This little hidden gem, right on the beach/sur la plage, is terrific. Choose a table on the sand, or under the open-plan canopy, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, great service and fantastic food. Our party of three – two adults & one 8 year old, couldn't fault it. The beer/wine was cold, the seafood was fresh (mussels/les moules) straight from the mussel farms around the corner; great pizza, and stunning view. Monday in this week a family of 10 persons where eating at La Jetee.The rest of the family got pizza and other meat dishes. This food were okay..I got the Tatare off beef. It tasted okay, but the next day I got ill with bad stomach and headache. I am pretty sure I have got a food poisoning from the Tatare.It is very sad to spend one or two days off your holidays feeling sick with headaches and bad stomach's, only because you ate the wrong food.My advice to the restaurant is that they got to be very careful with raw meat.

Great location right on the beach (great sunsets) and great atmosphere. Been there many many times and never disappointed with the food. Pizzas available in the evening. Good choice of French cuisine and as of this Thai dishes (they have a French and a Thai chef!) This is my canteen when I visit my mum in La Seyne (we had 5 meals over the 6 days I spent here over the Easter break...)
