On the way from SW Essonne to Dieppe we were too late for our usual boring highway sandwich stop... so... let's find something to eat 13:30 in Beynes. Wow, what a find. We have a table without reservation because it was late for lunch service and had a very nice time. Considering that the room was completely filled with locals, we received smiling and fast service and delicious food. Beynes is on one of our routes to Dieppe and it seemed just a small town... little we knew that Koch Christophe Piat has such a nice restaurant. The lunch menu at 14.90 Euro cannot be beaten. very good food with good quality foods and good quality/taken ratio that you do not find much in the surrounding area. However big negative point on the service, probably extras for the holidays or trainees but these are absolutely not trained! More than 3 hours to eat, certainly a Saturday night but it remains huge. only 1h to order the entrance and the dish and more than 20min with the empty plates once finished. Very bad! However already tested the noon and the service is faster (1h.)
We had a nice meal here yesterday. The waitress was very friendly and has led our pigeon French well! We chose a 25 eur menu that was 3 courses and everything was very tasty and servings were generous. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant... busy. We would certainly recommend this place.
This is by far one of the best meals we have eaten EVER. The menu of 35 Euro was delicious, refined and beautiful at the same time. The atmosphere is pleasant and another thing to show... her house cocktail is wonderful. Excellent choice...from my husband to celebrate my birthday!!!

entry, dish and dessert very good, dishes are well presented and tasteful. on the other hand, service to be revisited. we had reserved a table, only 40 minutes after being installed the waitress took our order. Long waiting between each dish!
we are faithful and never disappointed customers. It's copied, good, well-presented and the card changes regularly. waitresses were attentive, maybe it would be a plus to put the 2nd menu to €32 for example without cheese. We'll be back.
We were looking for a wedding meal and finally we hadn't chosen: good things but I didn't at all appreciate being used as scallops instead of the scallops. and then the service was not extraordinarily warm.
Excellent food. Not only my main dish Choucroute with red snaps was of excellent quality. Wonderful atmosphere. Staff efficiently and effectively. And charming. For example, the young Alsatian lady.

The menu during the week is great value for money. Three courses of fine quality cuisine for 15 euros. I always feel that I should be in Paris paying more for a meal such as la Licorne provides.
