This could not have been better: excellent food, great music, a fabulous atmosphere, and an owner and staff team who make a performance out of their work without the fun and frolics seeming forced or formulaic. This was Valentine’s night, and some of the dancing...and singing, the camaraderie with other diners later on, was unique to this night, simply one of those wonderful, unforgettable and unplanned occasions. Still, we left feeling that there are many such nights at La Locanda! Leaving the fun aside, this is still a little gem of a restaurant, well worth the few extra stops on from the central station. after which we were here a few times, I can say - a really good Italian local. the dishes are to be landed off the usual Italians. next to the normal last meal card there is a table with changing orientation. all past foods were really very well prepared and tastefully excellent. we'll be back. the service is very friendly and attentive. a reservation is of advantage. only that finding a parking space is sometimes a good thing (purely residential) - but for that, it can't do anything locally.
I can guarantee you will love this restaurant. I always get the caramelle de Parma but my husband gets a variety of dishes. Absolutely amazing. Romeo and Alessandro are very charming. You feel like you are in Italy. Seriously you must eat here. The...calamari is perfect. Also, their truffle pasta is delicious. I cannot say enough about this. the food was fantastic! truffle noodles, antipasti, seafood! good beer and nice workers! on the terrace you sit well, but also has the rock music of the night to tolerate! it took place a loud party next door - it actually made it quite funny, because good eating rock music we all had not had yet!

we always like to come to the la locanda. Not only the barley dishes from the tageskarte are always worth a visit. also the mush or the antipasti - always good.
