My credit card did not work when I went to pay the bill. I phoned my bank and was told that there was no problem with the card and the problem had to be on the restaurant 's end. I tried 4 more times to pay but it was declined each time. My partner drove to a cash machine but again the card did not work. Unfortunately it was the only card either of us had. We didn 't know what to do and we were both visibly upset. The owner was getting very impatient with us at this point.
