My wife and I decided unwisely to eat in the Mangoune last night In summary almost zero choice for people who have a gluten intolerance (my wife in our case) mixed service with ad hoc waiters and waitresses attending to us rather than...anyone looking after our order this led to unacceptably long gaps between order, starter, drinks etc my wife ordered pork and I ordered steak for main dish both were verging in inedible with the pork being extremely fatty and undercooked and my stake full of grissle and over cooked We decided (politely and quietly) to leave before the final course of the set menu arrived and left for a coffee elsewhere. we visited this restaurant because the hotel restaurant was closed. we were not dissapointed when eating was excellent. while we waited for our starter, an appetizer of olive, paprika was served in a vinagrette sauce. I had jambon de pays et pate de...campagne for the starter who was very nice. for the main course I had effiloche de porc (powder pork,) which was wonderful. the dessert was also beautiful, which cornet de murat was delicious with a sauce of red fruits. they offer 2 courses for 22 euro and 3 courses for 24 euro. the service was very pleasant and we recommend it thoroughly. we intend to visit next time in the opposite.
