Group of 8 including two children visited approx 8pm. Restaurant was reasonably busy, but had to wait about 45 minutes to get our drinks order taken. Drinks then took another 30 mins to arrive, with waiter claiming the barrel had to be changed on the beer (an excuse he used later in the meal as well...) When food arrived, one of the orders (chicken skewers) had been substituted for a burger with blue cheese on it, because they had run out of chicken. No-one actually told us this until the food arrived, surely it would have been more advisable to ask what we actually wanted instead. Amazingly, other tables then received chicken skewers, read into that what you will.Clearly this restaurant can...

You wouldn't think it is a chain restaurant, it looks quite unique and original. Also the menu is packed with local expressions of dishes I hardly ever heard before like Pounti, Truffade, etc. The theme of the restaurant is the mountainous region of Auvergne with its typical dishes, plus their versions of pizzas and hamburgers. They are excellently prepared, come in "mountainous" quantities and are moderately priced. If you are not really very hungry, one main dish will do absolutely, skip the starters and desserts.Staff was very friendly and attentive. I had been here before for dinner and it was packed. This time I stopped for lunch and we were just a few diners. Great place!

Delicious Auvergne food using local ingredients served by friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is quite large but is divided into different areas which keeps the noise level down and makes it feel more intimate. The food was rich and filling with a good selection to cater for most tastes and wallets, and the local wine by the carafe complemented the meal to perfection. We are already planning a return visit!

We had dinner here while staying at the Ibis hotel on our way to southern France.Restaurant looks nice, enough choice of food and reasonable pricing. The only minor was lack of staff. With the restaurant only half full, staff (three, including the manager) was running to help the customers in time which did not help to create a relaxed atmosphere.
