Having been recommended by several friends, and impressed with the friendly staff, comfortable surroundings and atmosphere, we were sadly disappointed. As with most restaurants in Port Grimaud the standard of food is terrible. An apology of rice and salad garnish accompanies all food and regrettably the fresh fish had not been properly cleaned and had a bad odour when it arrived at table and tasted likewise. Even the profiteroles needed a hammer and chisel to eat, so we will not be returning and cannot recommend.
Got the recommendation from a staff of le café telline that we can go there if we want seafood. The restaurant was tiny on the corner of one of many bridges on this area. We had to walk up and down few times until we find it. We had the mussels (10€ ONLY!) which was super soft, they dissolved in your mouth! The waiter was really nice and had always smile on his face which is unusual in this area. He also told us a few useful sentences in French. So do stop by if you in this area for reasonable price seafood!
WE hadn't booked but they found us a table..I recommend you book..We started with mussels my husband had prawns and squid..followed by a fish mixed grill it was excellent ..the cooking was superb the lady serving was very friendly..it is in a lovely situation overlooking the canals ..seawater..cost wise a little higher than some of the others but it was backed up by the excellent cuisine
We've spent a great morning walking along the streets of port grimaud and a local recommended us La Maree as we were after seafood. I have to say we were disappointed as the food was so so and the waiter was unfriendly. The setting is very nice but I feel it's not a reason enough to be back.

We had dinner at the front of the restaurant by the waters edge, this eatery is tucked away in a side street and well worth searching out! Seafood platter with fresh crab was amazing and reasonably priced. Highly recommended! Friendly staff add to the overall experience.
Excellent restaurant on the main square of downtown Carcassonne. Quick service, friendly staff and available, good kitchen. I recommend the cassoulet, of course, of human portion and well gratined!
Had Sea-bass - best I ever had! A tiny bit pokey and small but both food and service were excellent. Wine was nice too and quite good value also.
