We made a reservation on a Wednesday, calling at 11:30 am and using my husband's high school French. We arrived at 1 pm, as agreed, and were shown a table immediately. That being said, two parties came in later without reservations and were turned away. I believe the woman running the front of the restaurant would rather ensure that her customers have good service, than to fill the place up and have lower quality service and possibly food. The food was delicious! I can only agree with most comments posted on this charming little restaurant in Léhon. The service and ambience are just right, the food tasty and well-portioned. The wine selection was good, and we enjoyed an excellent Côtes du Rhone to complement our red mullet tart, warm chèvre salad, filet de porc and cod in white wine sauce. Close with the delicious poire au vin, créme brûlée, a warming glass of Armagnac and coffee and you could die happy. It had the added bonus of being only 50 metres from our apartment on the river.

Wonderful family-run restaurant. We stopped for a 3-course lunch on a walk from Dinan. Good value menu formule with reasonable choice. The boeuf bourguignon was absolutely delicious. Exceptionally friendly service, we shared a few jokes with my limited French and the owner's slightly better English. We hadn't booked, so were lucky to get a table for 3. Would definitely recommend booking if you;re visiting Lehon.

Dinner at La Marmite was one of the highlights of our holiday. The walk along the river from Dinan to get to Lehon is enjoyable. The restaurant is fairly small and quiet. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the food delicious. Strongly recommended.
