"In Bareges, a very small resort village in Midi-Pyrenees, there are very few restaurants. During ski season, most are booked in advance, so reservations are a must, and this is no exceptions. Located in a subfloor under a pizza restaurant/bar, the results are excellent local cuisine, a nice winelist, and a touch of elegance in the nice presentation, including a rather standoffish, well-dressed co-owner running the front of the house. We were delighted that by the end of the meal, she was smiling with us. A great find in a small village, and highly recommended."
