We live in Los Pacos and Miguel and Sofia opened this delightful cafe/bar in August 2014. Sofia makes all her own pizzas and sauces. Her bravas sauce is simply the best. She should bottle it and sell it!! The burgers are huge and delicious, not for the faint hearted! Sofia also makes her own lasagne which which is yummy! Miguel has sourced the meat from the best suppliers as you can tell from the taste. Sofia is always trying new recipes and they are constantly reviewing their menus and adding things all the time. We were staying around the corner and had walked past this restaurant several times. It always looked busy but with most people using it as a take out. So using the old if the locals are using it lets give it a try and we 're so glad we did. I had the Ox burger, and I 'm still dreaming about it. it is one of the best burgers I 've had, fresh, full of flavor and a small portion of the best chips i 've had in a long time. My partner had a Pizza and she ate the whole lot, i didn 't get too try this but the smile on her face said it all, so much so we went back three more times. Thank you to Miguel, Sofia and the staff at La Mediterranea for a wonderful taste of something different. Miguel makes you feel very special at this unassuming little bar and Sofia might just be the best cook around! I have been to Spain quite a lot but the dishes here are something quite different! Reviewed this bar/restaurant 2 years ago and still as good as then Lovely food, great hosts and still well worth a visit. Had the lasagna which was spot on full of flavour and a decent potion for the price. The sandwiches are the best, make sure to have the fries little potato joys. Will be back next year Thanks

A very nice little restaurant. Good place to have lunch. Tables inside and outside. Pizza is 2x more expensive than in another place in the neighborhood, but 2x richer and tastes real. Still reasonably priced. Pizza Pil Pil was really nice with enough garlic. Service was good, and with a smile.
