I have a good sense of how much a burrito typically costs, and the one I ordered definitely wasn't worth $10.99 since it didn't even come with fries or anything else. The menu also didn’t list prices, which was frustrating. I ordered a small water as well, and my total ended up being $18.58. To make matters worse, they didn’t inform me about a $3.99 credit card service charge – why should customers have to cover your merchant fees? Really?! Plus, I was surprised to find out that taxes in Skokie are higher than in Chicago, coming in at 12.25%. What a shock!
I have been going to this location for the past few years now and have always had a good experience. I don't know what it is but today I went and noticed that the customer service isn't as good as it used to be. I ordered a drink and noticed that it wasmade wrong and went and told the worker and asked if I can get it remade nicely. I would understand if she said no in a kindmanner but she proceeded to roll her eyes at me and gave me attitude throughout the whole conversation. The worker may have beennew but I hope the customer service improves again.
The mangonada tastes so bland and not like the other Michoacanas. The tacos had such an extreme amount of salt that I got sick after eating it. Flavor doesn’t mean it should be extremely salty. Lastly, the women working there do not have great customer service skills or know how to work a register or take your order correctly. They didn’t charge me correctly than asked me to pay the few cents they didn’t charge. I did not like the vibe or anything I consumed at this place. ??????????
Great people, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere! It's conveniently located right next to Walmart, so after shopping, you can unwind and enjoy a meal in this clean and inviting spot. They offer three sizes of ice cream cups; I opted for the larger one, which was about $7.50. I got to try two different flavors: strawberry cheesecake and pistachio, both of which were fantastic! I can't wait to bring my friends here next time.

This is my second time visiting this ice cream shop, and unfortunately, I'm left feeling disappointed once again. The ice cream is excessively sweet and leaves a peculiar, greasy aftertaste that stays on my palate. I can't recommend it. To be honest, I would rather have a McDonald's ice cream cup instead.
They don't know how to make elotes properly. The guy just squirted some mayo and sprinkled a bit of chili powder on it, and then charged me full price for something that wasn't even finished. This is unacceptable.
The chicken taco we tried was fantastic. I was happy to find this spot right next to Walmart. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Food was not great, especially for the price. (Chips that came with the guac were stale and meat was way overcooked, for example). Ice cream was excellent. Service was not great.
