My husband and I have been coming here for several years now. There is often up to a year's gap between visits and we are always greeted like long lost friends. This restaurant is adjacent to perhaps the world's loveliest public swimming pool. Tucked next to the Port Marina Baie des Anges, you almost need to know it's there. It sits between the immense pool (there is a separate daily tariff for entrance to the pool) and the beach. The Cote d'Azur stretches out as far as the eye can see. I ordered paninis and asked the man who was preparing my order if he could kindly cut the paninis in half while he was preparing them. He replied in a very rude manner saying 'aah, on ne va pas s 'amuser a faire ca '... 'we 're not going to have fun doing that '... as in, 'I 'm not going to waste my time cutting your paninis in half '. Typical rude French behaviour which I find in many places nowadays during a number of visits in France. It 's such a shame that a beautiful country is so spoiled by the disrespectful and selfish behaviour of its people. Furthermore, the paninis are quite pricey and a small bottle of mineral water with a little bit of Grenadine syrup added to it cost me 3 euros...
We've eaten here several times and Maeva always greets us with a great smile. Food and service has always been excellent. Set alongside the Lagon pool €22 adults €11 children for a day ticket (expensive and part days not available) so worth bearing in mind. NB It's worth knowing that the restaurant and the pool are independent of each other. WIFI available too.
very antipathic personnel. Bad cuisine: a mixto fritto composed of gambas and calamars whites was in fact only a terrible amalgam of tentacles, in a greasy frying paste and without any shrimp or any gambas: we couldn't eat anything. It was served without any salad leaf or vegetable. very expensive for this poor quality of services. I strongly advise.
