La paillote is the ideal place to sip a café early in the morning, watching the tide go up, or down., convenient and fun for a quick lunch on the beach....and definitely the perfect place to go for their delicious gauffres after a bath in the refreshing (and yes, sometimes freezing) water of the Channel sea. My definition of a great family summer in Bretagne.

As English tourists walking the coastline, we dropped in for a coffee and waffle. English was spoken, the coffee and waffles were great and very reasonable price. A lovely little stop off. Seemed very busy with locals, always a good sign.

We had a lovely time eating a very tasting homemade waffel, which apparently is their speciality, overlooking the seaside.

Stated right on the main beach so be prepared to get sand between your toes. Good for sandwiches and fries etc Book a table now
