we fought to find a special evening from the posh and more sterile Michelin candidate and came over this little gem. intimate, welcoming, quirky and consistently pleasant. a really fantastic waitress (thu 21 oct,) that really added to the occasion. simple and extremely...adequate set menu that meets the place for the evening. beautiful butternut soup. the top marks all around!
this is a great little bistro in the heart of amboise. the owners served all tables themselves. they were very friendly and remarkable. the three-course dinner was delicious and very favorable. can not beat a beautiful local wee of the...owner for 4 euro a glass recommended. would be here for eating and returning the atmosphere.
Service was good. They spoke English which was a nice touch. Menu all in French which was fine. Not the best pizza I had had. Saying that because base underneath was not fully cooker. Side green salad with dressing was lovely.
during the walk amboise we accidentally came to this absolutely charming place with really friendly service, simple and very tasty kitchen!
