Visited in the evening it was very quiet only two couples in there. Food served very quickly I had the guinea fowl and dauphinois potatoes, followed by a chocolate cake. Portions were on the small side (we were still hungry after our meal) this place...is better for lunch in my view and the music left a lot to be desired. It was also hard to get their attention despite it not being busy at all. The kids had a sorbet with a passion fruit coulis that was covered in alcohol, they were not impressed about that latter addition. Last minute reservation for a late lunch after we went to another restaurant in Rocquebrune sur Argens La Bonne Etoile (after departure from the USA via Paris, by car rental and then 52 minutes to our AirBnB) ... we were made. So after we were turned away, as we had no reservations, and it was the Christmas evening I jumped on Google and got a reservation at Le Pergolade. What a DELIGHT. Easy friendly, flexible. We were a party of 6 of our young adult children service perfectly! When we greet with smiles and greetings. Popped in by chance last night and we weren’t disappointed, the staff are welcoming and the manager speaks good English, we ate inside as it was turning cool, however the views over the lake from the Pergola seating were lovely. Our meal was perfect, the...foie gras amazing and the steak beautifully rare and tender, just as we like it. I would just recommend that you firstly confirm the menu you are ordering from and what’s included in the price as we ordered the 2 course option, but had to pay for the 3 course option! A bit ambiguous as to the time of day!!
We booked for 10 people including 4 kids. The restaurant is in a great location, boarding a small lake with a lot of outdoor tables. That also means the kids can come and go rather easily in the garden (within limits obviously) once they are...tired of the lunch. The dishes are great, be them the fishes or the meats. The rosted duckling was especially well cooked. The waitress was very nice and flexible. One potential tip: as the restaurant is near the water, if you are a usual victim of mosquitoes you may want to prepare some repellent, just in case.

Our guest (and we) had clearly misunderstood the menu and when the main course arrived, it turned out that our guest was unable to eat. We briefly explained and politely asked if it could be changed anyway. The answer was a surly NO. You do not plonk a court before a guest who, when they try to explain about misunderstanding of the menu, it is a case of hard and go away without offering any solutions. Not at these prices. In the end, I had to give up my own meal for something I didn't really want. Terrible customer service.
We had romantic and lovely dinner with very good food and service . The place to spend adorable evening , with music and with very tasty and locally made cuisine. We had the Table by the board of lake, great service and speaking English. The...place to spend adorable evening with parking , and even with fresh , hot , locally made bread which is rare here. And The duck was perfect ! Recommend !
this place is genuinely outstanding . The front of house madame is brilliant and a real character. Best phone to make a reservation. I was politely told off for arriving a little early but with a twinkle in her eye. Fish soup very good. Egg...starter tasty and not too filling. Sea bream was amazing and duck very good as well. We'll come again. Closed Sunday evening and Mondays.
A beautiful and romantic environment!! Eating was nice. We shared 4 starters as the main course and was more than enough! The scallops were a pleasure! The service was quite slow when asked about the bill, but overall a very recommended restaurant.

Beautiful outdoor seating. Extremely friendly staff and delicious food. There’s a man playing music on his keyboard, but definitely not too loud. It created a nice atmosphere.
