We were only in Arles for one night and it was a Sunday. There were not that many restaurants open and as we walked past this small place we asked if they could sit a party of four. We were lucky and even more so with the food. We shared 2 baked Camemberts, these were topped with sun dried tomatoes and some sliced duck. Gorgeous!! The main courses of cod loin , a burger and beef stew with camargue rice were fantastic. We only managed two desserts a caramelised apple with ice cream and a tiramisu both great. The service was very efficient always noticing when we needed water and bread. Excellent!!
I had the 28 euro menu entree was bull cold cuts and the plate was bull stew with rice as bull is the local specialty. For dessert I had the caramelized apple with home made ice cream. It was all excellent. The wife had the house special bull rib with fries she also got the entree foie gras and dessert was the cheese cake everything was excellent. The service was 5 star We would definitely return Next time I would get the bull rib as well
My wife and I went to La Pergùla for lunch. A simple but charming place inside the old historic part of Arles, just a short walk from the Arene (Colosseum). We had the daily special (duck in an excellent sauce) a 50 cl pitcher of the house red wine (not bad), and coffee (expresso) at the end of the meal. We will happly go there again, and recommend it. The bill: 37 euros.

Ok... So we were already liking the out side and then we spotted the menu du jour... Cuisse de canard avec frites e salade for an incredibly respectable price. Four of those please! Delicious. From start to finish. Served quickly and with a smile.Even the coffee was excellent. Couldn't have wanted better.
This restaurant is in high demand, so a reservation might be a good idea.Had the menu du terroir, first tartare de cabillaud, then filet de bar and desert pommes breton style with ice cream.Half a litre of white wine and still a decent price.Good food, nice staff.I recommend this restaurant.
We enjoyed lamb shanks (a special, not on the regular menu) and Camargue bull stew at this small bistro near the Amphitheatre. Both were flavorful and tender, and attractively presented. Service was timely and attentive. There is a good wine list.
We ate dinner here and the food was excellent, We had the fixed price menu. We each had a different type of fish. It came with potatoes that were delicious - like little squares of fried twice baked potatoes.

Charming atmosphere in this relatively small restaurant. The service was excellent and the food good. It was an unexpected pleasure after the Jules Cesar where we are staying for 6 nights in Arles.
