our tour group of 24 held here on our journey from sarlat and saumur, it is a nice little pub, back to a cellar. all walls are stone. they had set up a buffet for the group, and we sat on tables for four....Buffet had chicken wings, quiche, lachs, Greek salate, among other things. owners were the server and are from Britain. they were very friendly and accommodating. front is a bar and there are tables outside. the city is very picturesque and is worth the stop when they go through.
excellent little bar restaurant they need to look for. hidden in the back roads. we have a table outside and ordered a selection of things that were all very good. especially the burgers received a good feedback from those of our group that they had. the staff was friendly and efficient. perfect for relaxing and casual eating.
a beautiful location in le dorat, friendly and faster service, good eating, much of it. what is not to love? I had the menu de jour and it filled me for the rest of my day to explore, not even needed dinner.
Went today with friends. Lovely tasty meal, well presented with great service and such a treat to have a Sunday lunch served at 2pm We will definately be back for the next one.
