We stopped in for lunch en-route to Pont du Gard, the restaurant is an old station house with outdoor seating on what was the platform. The kids loved the old railway tracks and the adults appreciated the quirky venue. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and professional and the food was excellent. The ravioli starter was one of the best dishes I had all holiday and the steak tartare was also top notch. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area and will hopefully make another visit myself next summer.
We had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant twice in September, once as a couple and another time with a group of 11 people. The food was consistently outstanding, beautifully presented and every morsel was delicious; people were talking about the meal for days afterwards. It's our favorite restaurant in the area and we look forward to eating there every year when we visit. The service is always good and the ambiance pleasant and relaxing.
This charming restaurant was a fantastic setting for our party of seven adults, two children. A quirky ex station, we sat on the platform and the children happily played along the defunct railway, contained within the pretty grounds. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
When you’re close to the Pond du Gare, consider making a lunch or dinner stop at this restaurant, which used to be a small train station. The affordable dishes look like small works of art. And moreover they taste great too. You’ll certainly have some combination of flavours, which have never had before. Really worth the small detour!
