La Petite Venise - Table reservation

We were desperately hungry, it was raining, another restaurant, Les Marmoins, had said they couldn't seat us for over an hour, though we saw a family of three leave just as we crossed the square. We were very happy to come across this delightful restaurant. The host/waitress was very kind and patient with our limited French. My husband found the plat du jour, a sausage with steamed potatoes and mustard sauce, to be quite tasty, and I was thoroughly delighted with my pizza "norvégienne" with cream sauce, cheese, and smoked salmon. Great crust!

obviously there was a change of ownership.We were there for lunch today. we usually like the simple and rural kitchens. often we are amazed how simple dishes are prepared imaginatively and tasty. In this restaurant there are not many cakes: open wine from the plastic bag has not tasted us - appetizer was imaginary- skin food without a spicy mousse au chocolat is also in the evening. for us one of the worst experiences in France.
