"A party of six went here for lunch straight from the ski slopes. The gear was easily stored outside, and we were warmly welcomed even with noisy ski boots. The service was very friendly and the food great, we all had different variants of tartiflette. The prices were reasonable, especially to be at at ski resort.Perfect!"

The name of this restaurant is 'The hot stone' because you have one on your table to cook thin slices of meat yourself. I had some beef and some pork. A great idea that I'd never come across before; also a great success and good fun. The meat was carefully sliced and nicely presented along with the side dishes. They have been doing this for some time and it seemed to be a long standing family affair, the elder of the family presenting us with the stone with a warning not to touch it. Good wine and good service. Definitely recommended.

Whether you visit for the chance to cook meat on a hot stone in the middle of your table, or to sample their fondue, raclette or tartiflette, eating here is a must. This time, our party of three opted for the hot stone option (with two of us choosing beef, and one choosing pork). You each get a huge plate of thinly-sliced meat, and the stone (which you salt) is changed regularly. It's served with a tasty salad and bread, by friendly, smiling and helpful staff. They also have a good range of local beers.

We ate here a lot on our trip to Chamrousse. It's easy to get to from the slopes and you can leave your skis right outside. The food was amazing and really reasonably priced. Its a nice place for Lunch or Dinner and when we went for a friends birthday we were all stuffed and happy by the end. We did go on a Friday and found it fully booked which was disappointing but the pizza chef offered to make us pizzas anyway. Lovely place.

My wife and I along with our two children (6 and 4) had dinner here. The service food and ambience was simply fantastic. Very Alpine in style with some great ways to cook food. My kids loved the racklet and my wife had "hot stones" which was a quirky way of cooking a selection of meats. Everything was perfect, even the wine. Can't rate this place high enough.
