As someone from the Syracuse, NY area, I can confidently say that this is the best New York-style pizza in the St. Louis region. In fact, it outshines some NY-style pizzas found in New York itself. I highly recommend adding sausage to your pizza; it's prepared differently than anywhere else I've tried—with long, thin slices rather than clumps. The grease ratio is always perfect! And what's New York-style pizza without those delightful grease puddles?
Best NY style pizza in town and a ways beyond. Obviously, crust is a key and La Pizza's is perfect...and perfectly foldable. However, the cheese is what sets their pizza apart. It has a fresh taste and they include just the right amount. While the place itself isn't fancy, it's perfect if you're looking to grab a slice. Their garden salad is worth a try as well.
We discovered this little gem yesterday, and although it's small, the pizza is incredible—just like New York style! We had three slices but had to take one home because it was so delicious. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and can't wait to go back for more pizza!
Fantastic pizza! Edgar and the rest of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. He's from NYC, been here over 20+ years and still has the accent. Great people and great food. We got the Roberto pizza, which was awesome but Edgar said the stromboli is even better. Will be back! Book a table now
I had an issue that I commented on a few weeks ago, la pizza responded and addressed the issues head on. Thank you for the quick response and for acknowledging the issues I had. Went back and got pizza for my staff and they loved it. One of the better pies I've had in STL!
