"Went twice during our recent trip to Provence. Enjoyed the food very much but service was very slow on the second night otherwise I'd give it a 4 rating. On a busy road so eating outside is a bit noisy but still very popular with locals and tourists alike"

As we knew that this is a crowdy restaurant, we made a reservation. When we arrived, we were asked three times whether we made a reservation before we were seated. It was as if they could not find our reservation and did not really believe us (although the staff was friendly). Then it took quite a while before they took our order and even longer before we got our food (altogether approximately 1h30, which is very long if you are with young children). Tables around us were treated much faster, again we had the impression that they were holding back on us. The couple sitting at the table next to us (thinking we did not understand French) talked between themselves about the fact that we had to...

Although you would perhaps not associate pizza with your holiday in the Provence, I really think you should consider to go to this little pizzeria in Mazan. We stayed in the neighborhood for 1 week and came here 3 times for dinner!! The place was packed every evening - so it helped to make a reservation ! The pizza was so very good....it was prepared in a wooden fire oven which gave the pizza its very special taste. Many locals also came here for "a pizza take away"...I can't blame them!!

This is our favorite pizza restaurant, a must-visit whenever we're staying in Mazan. There is a great selection of wood fire cooked thin-crust pizza's; the "quattro formage" 4 cheese is one of our most favorites. Reservations are helpful at mealtime since this is a popular restaurant.

Lovely food and friendly service. Unfortunately because the pizzeria is the only place to eat for family groups in Mazan, the noise level can be similar to a nursery school with a busy traffic running along side. Otherwise excellent and reasonably priced for Provence.
