Came in this week on a recommendation but we had been given a temporary replacement menu which was limited and did not include two of the french dishes we were recommended. The menu featured a couple of items from the original menu but at an...increased cost as we were visiting the resort for a festival that was on. We ordered a pizza and steak and the pizza had pesto (from a jar, really?)on which wasn’t listed on the menu so this was replaced for a steak. Meanwhile the partners steak was very rare and we asked for it well done. Right as my blood sugar was getting dangerously low after a morning's skiing, we stumbled across this restaurant. I desperately ordered a cheeseburger, not expecting anything special, but just after a bite to eat, but OH MY GOD, was I blown away.The food is some of the best I've had, and particularly exceptional when you consider it is halfway up a mountain. The cheeseburgers is a highlight, but everything on the menu was delicious in its own right, including some of the more authentic French dishes. Fortunate to have wall to wall sunshine which is lovely to sit outside in. There’s an extensive lunch menu for the table service and a snack menu if you only sit in the deck chairs (they are low so you need a good core to get out...once you’re in! . We visited during half term and there were no outside tables available at lunch without pre booking. There’s a reasonable inside space available too. Burgers were good. Pasta and omelettes, which were huge, were also good. Prices are standard mountain prices expensive; we never got away with under £50 for 3 meals and 3 (non alcoholic drinks inc tip. great restaurant on the pisten. good eating, especially the fries that are so good, “pot au feu” is really good, salads are also good. children's menu is good (a bit expensive and large portions, as everywhere in alpe d’Huez) with beautiful pious blanc. really plaisant. restaurant at the pisten, came back twice in our holidays. great service and eating comes fast, even if the restaurant is full. pizza is also good.

Visited this excellent place multiple times during our one week stay in Alpe d' Huez. Not only do the have a beautiful sunterrace with relaxing sunbeds, the service is super friendly. They also have two super cool outdoor cabines, with amazing views where we had a cozy and tasty raclette session. Definitely a go to place, if you are looking for an amazing view, nice atmosphere, friendly hosts and good raclette.
during our week holiday we have stopped in this restaurant several times for its beautiful apres ski atmosphere. it was always busy, but the service was fast and friendly. it's not cheap, but we didn't feel demolished. in any case recommend their hot chocolate and crispy.
This was our goto place for lunch during our holidays! Great atmosphere, delicious food, good service.... great place to eat, soak up the sun and have a drink with an amazing view!! Tried various things on the menu never disappointed!!! Go!!!
