It was our last day in Nice and we wanted something fast and easy. So we looked for burger spots. We decided for LaPlanxa because it was 2 minutes from our hotel. We sat down outside and immediately received some cold water for our table (on the house) We both decided for the burger. They asked how we wanted the meat (we wanted medium rare) and that's exactly how we received it! The burger was DELICIOUS! We ate so fast we forgot to take pictures. I'm a cheese lover so I really appreciated the amount of cheese there was in this burger. They also used coleslaw instead of normal salad in the burger which was amazing! Service was friendly and also gave us english menu. Food was excellent. Price was also fair for the amount of food and quality that you are getting. I rarely give 5 rating but this was based on service, friendly and fast (there were not many people though) and food: 350 gr cote de boeuf. Even the little bread accompanied was fresh. Ive gotten used to soggy tough bread that you get with your meal.Fries could be better though, they were not that warm. If I come back to Nice, I'll definitely eat here again.
This restaurant is very good limited menu but what is on the menu cooked fresh and very well. I had pot roast meat with vegetables, salad and chips and my wife pork steaks with vegetables,salad,chips and Camembert cheese. Both were cooked to perfection and house wine at only seven Euro for a half litre very well priced.Christian was a very polite and helpful host even finding "Scottish" menu for us we will definitely visit again and highly recommend it if you are visiting Nice.
Had the beef. I read the reviews saying the beef was chewy and more well done than medium but decided to give it a go anyways. The beef was more well done than medium. And chewy. And yes, I know it's not tenderloin. To little staff for the amount of people (half empty). Forgot to serve vine and coffee. Still the food wasn't bad and I want to like the place but I just can't. I give 3/5 because the waitress tried and rest of the food was OK.

Fantastic food, wonderful wine and one of the best value restaurants in Nice. Away from the main tourist areas of the promenade but don't let this put you off. The meal was fantastic and the owner/waiters are super friendly. (Manchester, England)
As boring as this sounds, I had the hamburger. It was one of the best hamburgers I have ever had. The food is reasonable and service is fast. Near the train station. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. I recommend this place.
We came here tonight with my 3 year old they made her a burger no bun & she loved it , I had the rib of beef & it was delicious slightly more done than the medium I asked for but very tasty nonetheless :-)
Really good, garlicy, Caesar salad, plus a really tasty chicken-chilli skewer meant we had a really nice meal. The prices were pretty decent at €12 or thereabouts and the service was fantastic.
