La Playa - Table reservation

We've eaten in quite a few different restaurants in St Gilles CDV over the last week and for us this one comes out on top so far....food was good value, plentiful and tasty. Childrens menu only €5.50 which includes main course, desert and a drink. Staff were friendly and helpful. Most food and drink we've had in a meal so far and the lowest bill, whilst still good quality. Great location as well; had our meal while the waves were rolling in and the sun was setting. Perfect!

This was the first time I went to go eat moules frites. I ordered moules au curry. Didn't know if I would like it cause with those foods you either like it or you don't. Took me by surprise but I really enjoyed it! Whenever I get back to sgxdv I will certainly go to this place again. The price and quality is good as well and the service was nice.

It's the end of the season and things are slowing down in St Gilles. On two consecutive days we had really good lunches with our family. The position is of course, wonderful, with the Atlantic breakers pounding on the beach right next to the restaurant. The food was superb and the service excellent. This is a first class restaurant.

We are returning to this restaurant every chance we get when it's sunny to take advantage of the beautiful Grande Plage of St Gilles-Croix de Vie and the refreshing Atlantic air. The big + is that the food is good and inexpensive and the waiter (or manager or both) is very friendly and hospitable. An excellent address!
