A local shop owner mentioned La Chona for a bite to eat while we were in the area.The food was great, traditional Mexican dishes. We came in for lunch on a Saturday. There was a fair amount of seating available to pick from.We had the super burrito, a steak quesadilla, and quesabirra. They had a lamb or beef option for the birra, and my husband got one of each. He mentioned it was a lot of meat in each, and that they could have used a bit more cheese.Limited parking.
I had the birria de chivo was good but didn't have the chivo taste. But was good. I took the rest of the caldo to go.
