The dining room here is not large; and when full [about 40 people] it is rather like a college hall - busy, loud, cheerful - only with better food.Generous portions of local produce are dished up very efficiently; we ate a casserole of shrimp under a pastry crust, excellent beef and pommes dauphinoises, followed by cheese and pudding, for the sum of 24 euros.The restaurant is open all year round, unlike many in the locality; I really hope the patronne has a holiday as she deserves one.
We love this place. It does an unchanging and limited menu of great food all year round. This time we ate the rib of beef ( you have to order this 24 hours in advance) which was generous enough to feed about six people. The wine list is decent and reasonable.
easy. a place you remember. the flesh is a hit. when they visit this restaurant, they will stop the time and for years go back the owners is a never stop working dame always take care of their customers.
large kitchen with local products of morvan. beautiful deco and atmosphere, very friendly owners and staff. all foods are prepared in the restaurant and are delicious!
